Kimolos is a pretty island located in the south west of the Cyclades. It has 769 permanent residents and includes, administratively, the island of Polyegos. The capital of the island is named Chorio and is made up of the settlements of Paleo and Neo Chorio. The harbour of Kimolos is located at Psathi which is just 1 km from Chorio.The island has splendid isolated beaches and is the ideal choice for those who want to have a quiet holiday, far from crowds and the noise of larger neighbouring islands. Nearby islands are Kythnos, Serifos, Sifnos and of course Milos.
